The CatDog team decided to create a shelter and/or temporary holding facility for animals in the Republic of Belarus. But this requires financial resources or the ability to find them.
Goal:
- purchase a private house with two plots of land, so that one of them is empty, or buy (rent) a plot of 40 acres and build a house;
- purchase the necessary equipment, furniture, toys, transport with a refrigerator;
- spend the remaining funds on food, treatment, sterilization, chipping, DNA testing, taxes, lawsuits, hiring assistants;
- accommodate up to 50 animals;
- return temporary animals after treatment and sterilization to the place from which they were removed.
Future goals after the first goal:
- opening a chain of pet food stores to sell feed with high-quality transportation from the manufacturer 100% observing storage conditions;
- opening a taxi for animals, if there are no those who are ready to transport animals through our mobile application;
- opening a network of hospitals with intensive care and entering into partnerships with veterinary laboratories to perform high-quality complex operations (operations requiring anesthesia) and establish the real causes of the disease.

What is the purpose of a shelter?
The shelter is needed to eradicate the suffering of animals and the suffering of people who help them. The shelter will effectively reduce the animal population by mass sterilization of females (there will be a place where you can bring an animal for a rehabilitation period), and will also relieve volunteers, which will improve their well-being. The existence of the shelter will help introduce strict control over animals, and will also make it possible to seize animals and punish those who breed them.
Where will the shelter be located?
The animal house is planned to be built in the Zhlobin district according to the model in the photo of the article. It will not be officially registered as a shelter, because certain obligations arise, including loss of independence (registration of a legal entity, hiring employees, mandatory reporting, etc.), which leads to large expenditures of time and money that are not there anyway (if self-sufficiency is achieved, then of course we will register it as a commercial organization). A private house of 200 square meters with a large plot of land, away from the population, is planned. The shelter will be a base where you can bring an animal for the duration of treatment, sterilization, adoption (only by our volunteers, from citizens on a paid basis), as well as on a paid basis if a person has no one to turn to for care of his animal. A tax is paid to the state of the Republic of Belarus from your donations (13% for a total amount of donations over 10,000-11,000 BYN per year).
